BMI View: Our 2013 forecasts for non-hydropower renewable energy generation in Taiwan remains unchanged from the previous quarter. We expect solar energy generation to experience the fastest growth among the various renewable sources as it is starting from a significantly lower base. We have also maintained our long-term forecasts due to a lack of progress in one of the country’s two main offshore wind energy projects.
