BMI View: We have maintained our 2013 forecasts for non-hydropower renewable generation in South Korea as we have not seen any developments in the sector that justify further revisions. Although we expect to see several changes in regulations governing renewable energy later this year, we believe that they will not pose a risk to our short-term forecasts. For the medium- to long-term, we have moderated our outlook due to a lack of progress in the tidal sector, and the government’s new thermal energy expansion plan.
