We believe the outlook for solar energy in Indonesia is extremely attractive and have revised up our medium- to long-term forecasts accordingly. That said, we note that the government’s latest method of awarding projects via auctions could be a double-edged sword, and could increase the risk of project failure in both the geothermal and solar sectors.
