However, we highlight that our forecasts are set to face greater political risks following the country’s legislative elections held in September. Right-wing parties fared extremely well in the elections, and funding and subsidies for renewable energy could be reduced given their pro-austerity stance. This quarter, we are maintaining our 2014 growth forecast for non-hydropower renewable energy generation in Austria at 5.0%.
